Our events program showed through strongly last week, with Eat Think HealThe Landing and Second Life taking out the top three spots. Each event was wonderful and fascinating in its own way, and most importantly was a great example of the different voices you can hear in any given week at Avid.

There are the requisite colouring books on the list again (and we should remind you that both of Johanna Basford’s titles, The Secret Garden and The Enchanted Forest, are now finally back in stock (for the time being!).

It’s wonderful to see our very own Trent Jamieson appear at number five with his incredible novel Day Boy, which has been getting understandably rave reviews far and wide. Get you copy now!

Nina George’s charming The Little Paris Bookshop continues its recent resurgence, while Gurrumul’s new Gospel Album will undoubtably be Avid’s bestselling CD of 2015. The wonderful novels of Sofie Laguna and Harper Lee make up the list!

Until next week… keep on reading!
